My name is Danny Rivas. I’m a musician from Queens, New York. I began playing the guitar at the age of 16 and shortly started writing music a few months after. Since then, I’ve been creating and molding my own sound, while still maintaining some of my early influences. Songwriters that inspire my writing include Paul McCartney, Harry Nilsson, Paul Simon, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Jeff Tweedy, and George Harrison. A lot of my music is based on stories that are usually fictional. However, I hope they’re able to transcend that and can resonate with people in some way or another.

In 2023, I released my first 5 song EP, Danny Rivas, produced by Joshua Lee Turner. In 2024, I’ll be releasing my first album, Stone Street. The first single off the album will be titled, “Tangerine Skies” and is set to release on June 14th. It revolves around a cowboy on the run, during the early 50s, who is writing a letter to his wife.

Until then, I’ll be uploading videos on YouTube and occasionally playing shows around New York City.
